Pretty soon David and I will be installing a Dana 44 OX locker and some 4.88 gears in his new rear axle. Anybody want to see or learn how gears and lockers work in a Jeep axle and how to install them? David is amassing a video collection of the building of his Jeep but nothing beats being there in person! I figured maybe everyone would like to see what actually happens inside and ask any questions about Jeep axles in general. I'd be happy to share all that I know on the topic as to tips, tricks, rumor, fact and fiction. Your input is also welcome as no single one of us can possibly know all of this stuff! Ok everyone the Ox locker is here! David and I are going to install it saturday morning the 6TH! Please RSVP if you would like to be a part of the lunch plans so we can plan food. David said he would be up for steak and lobster but the traditional lunch stuff should suffice! Will also have my dana 44 rubicon axle apart to look at (for my cherokee). Should be a good time. Sign me up! If the date is 6 March 2010, we will need to remove our name from the Stony Pass run. Perhaps the Jeepers that signed up for the run may be interested in Dana 44's. Please let us know the date as soon as possible and I'll call those listed on the Stony Pass run offering this as an alternative. I'm looking forward to learning more about this, as I'm sure others are as well! Karen has volunteered to bring hot dogs if this works with your schedule and Hannah's. Hey Aaron, Thanks for the heads up. Please let us all know when you will install. I would like to be there if possible. Got an ARB on (back) order for my 8.8 Sure hope it comes in time for MOAB.

HI Aaron, let me know when you decide to do the install. If it fits my schedule, I'd like to check it out. At some point I'll be upgrading my axels and putting lockers in them. I kinda think Ox's might be the way to go.
